SaaS, hospitality, e-commerce, coaching, consulting and food: discover Florian's industry experience and perspectives for your marketing questions.

Author: Florian Hieß

## Good questions understand their market.

Marketing consulting needs an understanding of the offer and customer decision. A software business must explain different questions from a hotel. For a shop, the work also depends on the product range.

My experience covers SaaS, hospitality and tourism, and e-commerce. Coaching and consulting are another focus with a distinct mentoring perspective. I know food and BBQ through my own content work.

The following areas show the experience I bring to each. For client projects, I identify my responsibilities. For my own projects and mentoring, I clarify my role. This helps you assess the connection to your question.

## SaaS

SaaS has been part of my work at [Swat.io](https://swat.io/de) since December 2016. As Head of Digital Marketing, I work on connecting the product and customer decision. Around ten years of experience within the business forms my background.

LIKE MAGIC adds a different SaaS context. I've handled SEO and content marketing for its hotel booking software.

On the [SaaS page](https://www.florianhiess.com/en/industries/saas/), you'll find my perspective on software that needs explaining and collaboration in marketing. The accompanying strategy article offers questions to help assess your team's next priority.

## Hospitality and tourism

My hotel and tourism experience includes SEO, ads and tracking. For Burg Hotel Oberlech, I've handled German and English SEO and Google Ads. At the Weitzer Group, my responsibilities include tracking and SEO; at Alpenloge, SEO and Google Ads.

Further projects include Das Sonnreich, Hotel Neubergerhof, Hotel Schani and Hotel Aichinger. Responsibilities differ between hotels.

Find the precise mapping under [Hospitality and Tourism](https://www.florianhiess.com/en/industries/hospitality-tourism/). For your own question, the website and booking path can provide a shared starting point: What information do guests need, and what does existing data show?

## E-Commerce

In e-commerce, Elesa+Ganter, AHK24, Kaninchenhofladen and Serrentis Hotelsupplies are among my shop references. Individual project scopes or numerical results have not been provided for this website.

My starting point in shop marketing is therefore your current task. Which parts of the product range matter? Which questions lead to a category or product? How can content and campaigns connect with the data foundation?

The [E-Commerce page](https://www.florianhiess.com/en/industries/e-commerce/) describes this perspective and explains the confirmed references without additional service claims.

## Coaching and consulting

Coaching and consulting interest me as a focus for offers that need explaining. I also bring my perspective as a mentor at GrowthMentor; my profile there documents that work.

Mentoring and marketing work for clients are different roles. A specific marketing client case for coaches has not yet been named for this website.

Under [Coaching and Consulting](https://www.florianhiess.com/en/industries/coaching-consulting/), I describe my approach to understandable offers, specialist content and the path to a conversation.

## Food, grilling and BBQ

I connect food, grilling and BBQ with my own content practice. Aufgetischt and Grillguide are my own projects. Mentions in derStandard belong to that background.

A content question can connect directly with the topic: What information does someone need to follow a recipe or grilling guide? How do personal experience and clear description come together?

The [Food and BBQ page](https://www.florianhiess.com/en/industries/food-bbq/) explains my perspective on content and marketing in this field. It explicitly distinguishes my own projects from external client references.

## Talking about your market

Your market can provide a useful starting point for our conversation. Describe your offer and the current question you want to address.

If your industry isn't listed yet, we can still clarify whether my expertise fits. Reach me through [contact and an initial consultation](https://www.florianhiess.com/en/contact/). My [expertise](https://www.florianhiess.com/en/expertise/) pages also show the topics that form part of my work regardless of industry.

For context, it can also help to know who in your business is working on the question and what information already exists.

## Frequently asked questions about my industry focus

### Which industries do you have experience in?

My experience covers SaaS, hospitality and tourism, and e-commerce. Coaching and consulting are a focus with a mentoring perspective. I know food and BBQ through my own content practice. The detail pages distinguish client responsibilities, my role within a business and my own projects so you can assess each background for your question.

### Are the businesses mentioned clients?

The hotel and shop businesses mentioned, along with LIKE MAGIC, are references from my work. Swat.io is my professional company context. Aufgetischt and Grillguide are my own projects; GrowthMentor documents my mentoring role. Consider these different relationships before inferring a particular project scope.

### Can I contact you about another industry?

You can contact me about another industry. A description of your offer and intended decision is helpful. Together, we can assess whether my specialist experience fits that task. The same conversation can help establish a fit for industries beyond those listed here.

### Where can I find specific projects?

You'll find specific responsibilities on the industry pages, particularly for hospitality and LIKE MAGIC. The details describe my respective contribution. Additional results or confidential project details are only intended where specifically approved. Separate reference URLs are not part of this website's approved sitemap.

### What experience do you bring from SaaS businesses?

My SaaS experience includes around ten years at Swat.io, joining in December 2016 and now serving as Head of Digital Marketing. For LIKE MAGIC, I've handled SEO and content marketing for hotel booking software. The [SaaS page](https://www.florianhiess.com/en/industries/saas/) explains the relationship with strategy, content and customer decisions.

### Which tasks have you supported for hotels and tourism?

In hospitality, I've taken on different SEO, ads and tracking responsibilities. Burg Hotel Oberlech, the Weitzer Group and Alpenloge are among them, alongside other hotels. The [hospitality page](https://www.florianhiess.com/en/industries/hospitality-tourism/) connects each project with the specified tasks. One universal service description for all references would be inaccurate.

### How is your e-commerce experience supported?

My e-commerce experience is placed in context through shop references including Elesa+Ganter, AHK24, Kaninchenhofladen and Serrentis Hotelsupplies. Individual responsibilities and numerical results haven't yet been provided. The [E-Commerce page](https://www.florianhiess.com/en/industries/e-commerce/) explains general shop marketing questions and separates recommendations from statements about these projects.

### How should coaching and consulting be understood as a focus?

Coaching and consulting are identified as a specialist focus. My GrowthMentor profile supports my own mentoring work. On the detail page, I therefore describe my approach to offers that need explaining without adding an unnamed client case.

### What connects your own food practice with marketing?

My food practice connects my own content with an understanding of food and BBQ. Aufgetischt and Grillguide are the associated projects. This background can help put topics and information needs into context for a marketing question. It remains explicitly separate from undocumented work for external food clients.

### Why do marketing priorities differ by industry?

Marketing priorities differ because offers and customer decisions create different tasks. A hotel needs to explain questions before a stay; a software business needs to explain product value. For planning, I recommend checking these differences against the actual starting point. An industry label alone doesn't define a useful channel or next step.
